BELLINGHAM - Community members interested in the future of public education in Washington state can share questions and concerns at a meeting Monday, Jan. 28.
The Washington Student Achievement Council is hosting a public forum to gather community input from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in room 210 of Whatcom Community College's Heiner Center. The Bellingham meeting will be the first stop on the council's statewide listening tour.
The council is charged with reviewing Washington's education system from early learning to higher education and coming up with a 10-year plan to improve that system.
