WWU's Donigian betters PNQ in men's 200

Western Washington University's Alex Donigian bettered the NCAA Division II provisional national qualifying standard in the men's 200 meters, placing fourth with a school record time of 22.14 in first-day action Friday, Jan. 25, at the Husky Invitational Indoor Track and Field meet being held at the Dempsey Indoor on the University of Washington campus.

Two weeks ago, Donigian, a transfer from Northern Colorado, ran a school record 6.89 seconds in winning the 60 meters.

On Friday, the Vikings' Karis Anderson placed seventh in the women's pole vault (10-11) and teammate Amy Rovira was 10th (10-5 1/4).
