Bald eagles along the road Mosquito Lake Road bridge over the Nooksack River in Deming, WA. Early winter is typically the end of fall salmon runs on rivers in Whatcom county. Eagles prowl the skies and lurk in the trees above local rivers and streams, looking for dead and dying fish. In this video a juvenile eagle finds a salmon carcass but an adult eagle swoops in to share the feast.
