The Lynden Christian girls' basketball team earned a 46-8 Northwest Conference victory Thursday, Jan. 24, at Meridian.
Kara Bajema and Kayla Tiemersma had nine points each to lead the Lyncs and Morgan Van Kooten had four points and five rebounds.
Taylor Lunde led Meridian (1-16, 0-9) with four points and three rebounds.
"Defensively we've been playing well lately," LC coach Curt DeHaan said in a phone interview, "and we have a big game Saturday with Nooksack."
The Lyncs (14-3, 7-2) host Nooksack Valley at Saturday, Jan. 26, and Meridian hosts Mount Baker on the same day. Both Class 1A games start at 7:15 p.m.
