Hot shooting leads Sehome to home win over Nooksack Valley

Charlie Linneman and Noah Cyr-Moore each scored 17 points to lead the Sehome boys' basketball team to a 78-32 Northwest Conference win over visiting Nooksack Valley on Thursday, Jan. 24.

The Mariners (13-4, 6-3 NWC) came out shooting well, converting on eight 3-point shots in the first half as they took a 29-8 lead after the first quarter and 53-17 lead at halftime.

"We shot the ball incredibly well in the first half," Sehome coach A.J. LaBree said in a phone interview.

Gabe Sanchez added 11 points for the Mariners.

Nooksack Valley (0-17, 0-9 NWC) was led by Seth Taron's eight points and seven rebounds.
