The Lynden Christian girls' basketball team defeated Sedro-Woolley 61-19 at home in a Northwest Conference game Tuesday, Jan. 22.
"I thought defensively we played really well tonight," Lynden Christian coach Curt DeHaan said in a phone interview. "We were able to get the ball inside quite a bit offensively."
The Lyncs (13-3, 6-2 NWC) were led by Kayla Tiemersma, who scored 18 points and had six rebounds in 15 minutes, and Sara Dougan added 11 points, six rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.
The Lyncs travel to Meridian Thursday, Jan. 24, in a Northwest Conference game.
