Balanced scoring helps lead Lyncs to win at Sedro-Woolley

Another balanced scoring effort helped lead the Lynden Christian boys' basketball team to a 62-57 Northwest Conference win at Sedro-Woolley on Monday, Jan. 21.

The win improved the Lyncs to 12-4, 6-2 NWC while the Cubs dropped to 8-8, 2-6 NWC.

It was the second straight game Lynden Christian had four players score in double figures.

"It was a great balanced night," Lyncs coach Roger DeBoer said in a phone interview. "We held on and battled."

Isaac Reimer led the Lyncs with 15 points while Truman Van Dalen had 12 points and Daulton Hommes and Nathan Meppelink each had 11 points.

The Lyncs took a 22-12 lead after the first quarter and held on from there.

"We held on and battled," DeBoer said.
