Whatcom Symphony presents John Friesen, Canadian-born cellist and Western Washington University associate professor of music, who will perform Haydn's Concerto in C Major at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St.
The program also includes Bach's "Passacaglia and Fugue" and Respighi's "Metamorphoseon." The concert is conducted by Jonathan Andrew Govias, one of four finalists for a new WSO music director.
