Lummi boys' basketball rolls past Highland Christian.

The Lummi boys' basketball team outscored Highland Christian by 23 points in the first quarter as the Blackhawks rolled to a 82-19 Northwest League 1B win Friday, Jan. 18, at Highland Christian.

Lummi's Joe Brady scored a game-high 17 points, Willie Jones scored 15 and Logan Toby added 13 in the win.

"We came out ready to play, and everybody contributed to the win," Blackhawks coach Jerome Toby said in a phone interview. "It was a good road win for the Blackhawks."

Lummi led Highland Christian 57-10 at halftime and didn't allow more than six points in any quarter.

Lummi (11-3, 8-1) hosts Grace Academy on Tuesday, Jan. 22 in a Northwest League 1B game.
