The Capitol City Bowmen will host its 24th annual Wooley Booger 3D archery shoot Saturday and Sunday.
Although the event is open to all, awards and prizes will only be awarded in the youth, cubs and pee-wee categories.
Archery equipment will be available to participants, and the club’s kitchen will offer breakfast and lunch with an early bird meal starting at 7 a.m. Camping also is available.
Registration for the 70-target event is from 8-11 a.m. Saturday and 8-10 a.m. Sunday. The one-day cost is $15 for adults, $8 for young adults (ages 15-17) and youth (12-14), $6 for cubs (8-11) and free for pee-wee (7 and younger). The family maximum is $35. Two-day costs are $25-$10 with a family maximum of $60.
The Capitol City Bowmen is located with the Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club near Littlerock. Take Interstate 5 south to Exit 95. Head west on Maytown Road to Littlerock. Turn left on Littlerock Road just before the gas station. Proceed 1.2 miles south to Capitol City Rifle and Pistol Club. Look for signs on the left at 14318 Littlerock Road SW.
