I think that both sides of the plastic bag ban issue have a point, but I agree with the people who say bans are unecessary. I believe the people who want to ban plastic shopping bags look at mostly one part and ignore the rest, and don't have official studies to back them up. On the other hand, I believe those opposed to plastic bag bans have the data to give them truth to their argument. They look at all sides of the problem. And they don't think their opponents are completely wrong, just a little misled and over blowing it. It's not really as dangerous to the environment as they make it sound.
