Port Townsend magician Joey Pipia presents "The Magic Chamber" at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at Depot Arts Center, 611 R Ave., in Anacortes.
Calling himself a "delusionist," Pipia's slight-of-hand show, recommended for folks 6 and older, features no fancy boxes and no smoke-and-mirrors, yet is fast-paced and surprising.
He's a performer, writer and producer of the legendary Stage Left Vaudeville Show at the Oregon Country Fair and writes the column, Imaginary Circumstances, for VANISH International Magazine, the industry journal for professional magicians.
Tickets, $20, are available at Watermark Book Company, 612 Commercial Ave., Anacortes, and by calling 360- 293-4277. Details: joeypipia.com.
