Nick Zeegers scored a game-high 20 points to lead Bellingham to a 63-54 Northwest Conference boys' basketball win at Sedro-Woolley on Monday, Jan. 14.
"It's nice to get a road win," Red Raiders coach Ken Crawford said in a phone interview.
The win improved Bellingham to 9-7, 4-3 NWC while Sedro-Woolley dropped to 8-6, 2-4 NWC.
The Red Raiders had a seven-point lead after the first quarter and held off a late rally by the Cubs.
"We did a good job controlling the ball the last three or four minutes of the game," Crawford said.
Alex Check added 15 points for the Red Raiders.
