Evan Miksovsky and Charlie Linneman each scored 20 points to lead the Sehome boys' basketball team to a 69-47 Northwest Conference win over visiting Blaine on Monday, Jan. 14.
The win improved the Mariners to 11-3, 4-2 NWC while the Borderites dropped to 3-11, 1-6 NWC.
Blaine hung with Sehome until the fourth quarter when the Mariners outscored the Borderites 23-11.
"We knew they were going to hang in there," Sehome coach A.J. LaBree said in a phone interview. "The fourth quarter we finally kind of hit our stride."
Blaine was led by Gabe Trump, who scored 20 points.
