Western Washington University's Alex Donigian has been named the Red Lion/Great Northwest Athletic Conference Indoor Track-and-Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 6-12.
Donigian, a sophomore, set a school record in winning the 60 meters in a NCAA Division II provisional national qualifying time of 6.89 seconds at the University of Washington Indoor. His clocking equaled the second fastest in GNAC history.
Donigian also attended Northern Colorado and Saddleback JC.
