Dawn James scored 10 points for the Lummi girls' basketball team in a 61-23 Northwest League 1B loss on Saturday, Jan. 12, at Neah Bay.
After a tough first half the Blackhawks held their own in the third quarter with 11 points.
"We continue to improve each week," Lummi coach Woody Bakke said in a phone interview. "We played hard from start to finish. Our goal was to keep them at or under 60 and I feel we were able to accomplish that."
Lummi (1-9, 1-7 NW1B) hosts Taholah on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
