Todd Wells of Bellingham finished fifth overall at the 2012 Whitewater Grand Prix in Chile.
The Whitewater Grand Prix is an international kayaking competition. The event featured 30 kayakers comepeting in five events over 14 days. Wells was the fourth highest American to finish. American Dane Jackson placed first.
Wells is a student at Western Washington University.
