Sehome swimming 14th at invitational

The Sehome boys' swim team finished 14th out of 32 teams on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Kentridge Invite at the King County Aquatic Center.

The Mariners had new state-qualifying times from Curran Wilbour in the 200 free (16th at 1 minute 51.43 seconds) and the 500 free (11th at 5:04.46), Andy Small in the 200 IM (15th in 2:06.08) and Isaiah Grambo in the 100 butterfly (23rd in 57.86).

Rocky Rantz placed 11th in diving with a 168.20.

Sehome had improved state qualifying times in two relays involving Patrick Gregory, Wilbour, Small and Grambo. In the 200 free relay the team finished 11th in 1:32.75, and in the 400 free relay they were 14th in 3:28.08. Also, Small improved in the 100 back, finishing 19th with a 58.97 and Gregory finished 17th with a 1:05.00 in the 100 breast.
