Sport: Girls' basketball
What she did: Albert turned in an unbelievable night statistically in the Mariners' 54-32 win over Mount Baker on Tuesday, Jan. 8, scoring 15 points, pulling down 17 rebounds and logging seven assists and seven blocked shots. Albert is fourth in the Northwest Conference with 12.5 points per game so far this season, as she prepares to head to Western Washington University next year.

Sport: Boys' basketball
What he did: Youtsey led the Storm in a pair of victories over Bellingham and Blaine last week. He scored 16 points and had 11 rebounds in a 61-48 victory over the Red Raiders on Monday, Jan. 7, before recording 21 points and seven rebounds against the Borderites in a 64-57 victory on Thursday, Jan. 10. Youtsey leads his team and is eighth in the Northwest Conference this season with 13.4 points per game.
