A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the lovely couple who live in Lynden, and who, when they found out that we were shopping for food to make sandwiches for the homeless in Vancouver, gave us $20 toward our work.
Your generous gesture made us feel very grateful. We had a good discussion about the fact that cross-border shopping occurs for all kinds of reasons. To us, you exemplify the gracious spirit of all that is so good in America. Thank you, again.
