Former Squalicum and Whatcom Community College standout Patrick Voeut, who is now a junior at Alaska Fairbanks, has been selected the co-Red Lion Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week along with Saint Martin's Roger O'Neill.

Voeut scored 31 points in two games, including 25 in an 82-75 win at Central Washington on Jan. 3. He made 12 of 20 field goal attempts and led the UAF with eight assists and six steals.

Voeut, who has started all 12 games for the Nanooks, is second on the team with 13.4 points per game and is averaging 2.5 rebounds to go along with his team-high 63 assists and 19 steals.
