The Museum of Northwest Art in La Conner presents an exhibition of photographic portraits of 20 Northwest artists, including Weldon Butler, pictured, by Kirkland photographer Eduardo Calderón; plus audio and transcribed interviews conducted by Calderón, and works by the artists, opening Saturday, Jan. 12, and showing through March 13.

The Museum of Northwest Art, 121 First St., in La Conner, presents an exhibition of photographic portraits of 20 Northwest artists by Kirkland photographer Eduardo Calderón; plus audio and transcribed interviews conducted by Calderón, and works by the artists, opening Saturday, Jan. 12, and showing through March 13.

Beginning in 2010, Calderón interviewed a cross section of Northwest artists ranging in age, background, and mediums each artist uses to make art, and photographed the artists in their homes.

The portraits by Calderón include Weldon Butler, John Grade, Lauren Grossman and Mary Randlett. Details: museumofnwart.org, 360-446-4446.
