The Lummi boys' basketball team came from behind to win at Grace Academy 49-46 in a Northwest League 1B game Friday, Jan. 4.

"It was really exciting from tipoff until the end," Lummi coach Jerome Toby said in a phone interview. "We were able to keep fighting and had a strong fourth quarter and that was really the difference for us."

Lummi (8-1, 5-0 NL1B) was behind 25-20 at halftime. Lummi was led by four players that each scored eight.

"I thought we were pretty balanced and a good team effort on offense and defense," Toby said. "Everyone did a good job and played their roles tonight."

Lummi hosts Lopez on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
