The Bellingham wrestling team defeated visiting Meridian 42-12 in a Northwest Conference match on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

The Red Raiders improved to 1-1, 1-1 NWC.

Bellingham had two wins by pin in the match not by forfeit: Blair Bennett won by pin at 160 pounds, David Burnham won by pin at 170 pounds.

Meridian had wins from Tomas Alvarado at 132 pounds and Jack Hallmark at 138 pounds.
