Unbeaten in its first 10 games and riding a 16-game win streak over two seasons, both marks the second longest in school history, the Western Washington University men's basketball team is on the road for a pair of Great Northwest Athletic Conference contests, traveling to Seattle Pacific for a battle between top 10 nationally ranked squads at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, and to Montana State University Billings at 7 p.m., Jan. 5.

Webcasts and live stats for both games are available at www.wwuvikings.com. The Seattle Pacific contest can be heard live on KBAI Radio with Doug Lange and Mark Scholten providing the broadcast.

The defending national champion Vikings (10-0 overall, 1-0 conference), ranked No. 5 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches/NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll, are coming off a 98-62 non-conference home win over Thompson Rivers BC on Sunday.

Senior guard John Allen, who had 14 points and a career-high 12 assists against Thompson Rivers, is averaging team highs of 18.4 points per game and 4.5 assists. He was picked as the preseason GNAC Player of the Year and was a Division II Bulletin Super 16 selection.
