Enjoy snowshoe walks guided by a park ranger in the Mount Baker Ranger District in January and February.
Participants will be able to learn about the winter in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest during the walks.
The snowshoe outings begin at 10 a.m. They are set for Sundays - Jan. 13, 27, Feb. 3, 10, 24 - and Fridays: Jan. 18 and Feb. 15
Participants will meet at the Glacier Public Service Center, milepost 34 on the Mount Baker Highway. The group will leave from there to snowshoe along the Hannegan Road, Heather Meadows or another setting in the Mount Baker District area.
Make reservations by calling 360-599-9572 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends, or by e-mailing email@example.com. Reservations are required. Update Jan. 14 - All the walks are sold out.
There is a suggested donation of $15 for adults and $10 for youths 16 and younger.
