The Bellingham Festival of Music hosts its third annual "Welcome Home" concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2600 Lakeway Drive.

Longtime friends tuba player Jon Hansen, a graduate of Sehome High School, and guitarist Albert Diaz, a graduate of Squalicum High School, both graduated from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music. They will perform solo works.

Suggested donation: $15; students free. Proceeds support the festival.
