Says metal detectors needed at schools

Published: January 1, 2013

In regards to the latest school shooting that killed many people in the state of Connecticut: People are already talking and previously have been talking about stricter firearm possession laws. If passed, they would make it a lot harder for some people to purchase firearms, which would be great. However, I do not believe that laws would not stop these sick people who are taking part in this type of violent killings at various schools from getting their weapon(s) of choice to continue. Some of us know that metal detectors are the real solution, but the cost of them might be scaring people off track. A few coins a month out of the U.S. citizens pockets is a small price to pay for the lives of our teachers and children at school. Whether funded by states or by federal government, or by both.

The airports didn't hesitate a bit to get funded for body scanners in addition to metal detectors to greatly minimize those trying to make it through security as high risk passengers, to protect countless lives. Think ahead.
