The Sehome boys' basketball team came back in the fourth quarter and defeated Sultan 68-56 in the Cloud 9 Sports Lynden Christmas Classic at Lynden Christian High School on Thursday, Dec. 27.
"It was a little sloppy coming off of Christmas and only having one day of practice," Sehome coach A.J. LaBree said in a phone interview. "We were able to bring up our energy level and settle down and pull off the win."
The Mariners were led by Evan Miksovsky, who scored 25 points, and Noah Cyr-Moore, who had 17.
"Evan was flying around and was on the floor the whole game," LaBree said. "He had a lot of rebounds and loose balls and tips and was all over."
Sehome will play Cashmere on Friday, Dec. 28, in the Classic.
