The Lynden Christian boys' basketball team jumped out to a 21-6 first-quarter lead in its 67-34 win over Mount Baker in a Northwest Conference game Friday, Dec. 21.
"LC took advantage of some early turnovers and raced out to a 21-6 lead," Lynden Christian coach Roger DeBoer said in a phone interview. "I was proud of the team effort on both ends of the floor. I think we had the best game defensively and shared the ball often as well."

Mount Baker (2-7, 0-2 NWC) was led by Reuben Murashov, who scored 10 points and Ty Munsell, who scored 7.
