The Sehome boys' basketball team lost to Anacortes 78-51 in a Northwest Conference game on Tuesday, Dec. 18.
"I felt we did a good job of scrapping and hanging with them for most of the game," Sehome coach A.J. LaBree said in a phone interview. "They made a run in the fourth quarter, and we didn't respond well to it. They scored 29 and really slammed the door shut on us."
Sehome (5-2, 1-1 NWC) was led in scoring by Charlie Linneman with 16 and Evan Miksovsky with 14.
The Mariners will next host Squalicum on Thursday, Dec. 20 in a Northwest Conference game.
