The WWU Club Tennis Team will host its annual Viking Showdown Tennis Tournament on Jan. 11-12 at the Bellingham Tennis Club.

The tournament will feature a free 10-and-under clinic for Bellingham and Ferndale Boys' & Girls' Club Kids.

In the tennis clinic, boys and girls will be matched up with college tennis players. The clinic will be held for about 30 kids 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Jan. 12.

Schools in attendance for the Viking Showdown and free tennis clinic include the University of Washington, University of Oregon, Oregon State University and Western Washington University.

HOLE-IN-ONE

Jim Terhorst had a hole-in-one on Dec. 12 at Bellingham Golf and Country Club. Terhorst used a 21-degree hybrid on the 168-yard No. 8 hole.
