Nicole Boardman (112) and Jessica Mata (124) earned second-place finishes.

"We performed pretty well," Mount Baker coach Clyde Blockley said in a phone interview. "We aren't there yet, but we are getting there. Natalie Smith is a freshman. She came out ready and battled really hard. She beat a couple girls who were at regionals last year."
