Sehome's Duncan James scored a career-high 12 points, and Charlie Linneman added 12 to lead the Mariners to a 68-49 non-conference win against Mount Baker Saturday, Dec. 15, in Deming.
The Mariners built a 32-15 halftime lead and cruised the rest of the way.
"We jumped out to an early lead with some really good pressure and were able to play a lot of guys in the second half," Sehome coach AJ LaBree said in a phone interview. "Duncan James did a really good job of executing plays."
Mount Baker's Ty Munsell scored a game-high 17 points.
Sehome travels to play Anacortes next at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, while Mount Baker plays Friday Harbor at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, in Friday Harbor.
