Lynden's Faber Construction to celebrate 25th anniversary Dec. 13

LYNDEN - Faber Construction is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an open house Thursday, Dec. 13.

Appetizers and beverages will be offered from 4-7 p.m. in Faber Construction's main office at 131 E. Grover St., Lynden.

Owned by Rick and Debbie Faber, the company has steadily evolved and expanded since its initial focus on agricultural construction, according to a news release. Faber Construction has become a company with 50 employees with the ability to handle projects ranging from $5,000 to $12 million.

The company's notable projects include a 20,000-square-foot manufacturing facility built last year for Index Sensors and Controls, the Port of Bellingham's first LEED Gold facility. Faber Construction's portfolio also includes buildings for Bakerview Square, Birch Bay Square and Cornerstone Christian School.
