The Bellingham Tennis Club's Holiday Open wrapped up on Sunday, Dec. 9, at the tennis club in Fairhaven.

Men's open doubles: Brad Bator/Jesse Walter def. Jesse Schouten/Avery West 6-4, 6-4;

Men's open singles: Brad Bator def. Jesse Schouten 6-4, 6-2;

NTRP combined mixed 7.5 doubles: Scott Jamieson/Audrey Wakefield def. Adele Robinson/Robert Warner 6-1, 6-0;

NTRP men's 4.0 singles: Brady Anderson def. Jared Wigen 6-2, 6-2; NTRP women's 3.0 singles: Karen Frankenfield def. Jennie Lopez 7-6, 2-6, 12-10;

Women's open singles: Isabella Hoyos def. Kasey Bower 4-6, 6-3, 10-8.

GOLD MEDAL WINNER TO BE AT HOLIDAY EVENT

The Whatcom Rowing Association is having its annual holiday reception/silent auction at 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Broadway Hall in Bellingham.

Bob Ernst, director of rowing at the University of Washington, will be the guest speaker and Eleanor Davis-Logan, gold medal winner at the London Olympics, will be in attendance.
