The Lynden Christian girls' basketball team defeated Gleneagle of British Columbia 60-19 at home, Friday, Dec. 7.
"I thought we shot the ball fairly well," Lynden Christian coach Curt DeHaan said in a phone interview. "We were able to get 14 second chance points tonight. I think having under 10 turnovers was a big factor for us."
Lynden Christian (3-1) was led by Kayla Tiemersma with 17 points and Courtney Hollander, who had nine points, eight rebounds and five assists.
"Courtney had a great overall game and Kayla was 8-12 shooting and stood out," DeHaan said.
The Lyncs will play at Burlington-Edison in a non-conference game on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
