The Squalicum boys' basketball team lost 67-43 at Glacier Peak on Friday, Dec. 7.
"I thought Glacier Peak executed well," Squalicum coach Dave Dickson said in a phone interview. "They really defended us well, especially in the second and third quarters. We had trouble scoring and I attribute that to their solid defense."
The Storm (3-2) was led by Blake Youtsey with 14 points and Tre Clark and Ben Garcia, who each had nine points.
"Youtsey played really well and I think he competed hard," Dickson said. "They are a good team and they exposed a lot of our weaknesses and hopefully we can get better."
Squalicum will play at Bellingham on Monday, Dec. 10, in a non-conference game.
