The Blaine boys' wrestling team earned two dual wins Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the BEHS Double Dual in Burlington.
In the first match the Borderites earned a 35-26 win over Arlington and they finished up with a 42-26 win over Burlington-Edison.
The Borderites had two wins from Anthony Frey at 132 pounds, Caleb Frey at 138, Jon Stewart at 160, Caleb Johnson at 220 and Mikey Antczak at 285.
Blaine coach Craig Foster said it was an up and down day.
"We have some work to do," Foster said in a phone interview, "but it was nice to get a couple of wins."
Foster praised the work of the freshman Frey brothers, who each had two pins on the day.
"Four pins for the Freys," Foster said. "They are real competitors and are fun to watch."
The Borderites host the Battle at the Border on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7-8.
