Sehome's Andy Small already qualifies for the state boys' swim meet after he swam the 500 freestyle in 5 minutes, 14.66 seconds as Sehome beat Lynden 105-67 in a non-conference meet Tuesday, Dec. 4, in Lynden.
Small was also part of the 400 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay teams that won, as well as finishing first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:57.96
The 400 freestyle relay also included Patrick Gregory, Jack Thompson and Will Hutchinson, and they finished in 3:47.90.
Gregory also won the 50 freestyle in 24.78, the 100 freestyle in 55.26 and was also part of the winning 200 medley relay that had a time of 1:50.12.
Isaiah Grambo won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:12.18, the 100 butterfly in 59.09 and was part of the winning 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams.
The 200 freestyle team also included Colin Hakeman and Calvin Richan, and they swam a 1:41.07.
Lynden's only first place finish was by Jan Wolfisburg in the 100 breaststroke after he swam a 1:09.04.
The next event for both teams is the Northwest Conference Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 8.
