Alyssa Porter scored 13 points to lead a balanced scoring attack by the Bellingham girls' basketball team in a 65-28 non-conference win at Meridian on Monday, Dec. 3.
The win improved the Red Raiders to 2-1.
"All 10 girls came into the game with good energy," Bellingham coach Brad McKay said in a phone interview. "That showed in the final score."
Joelle Zamora and Ashley Spink each had nine points for the Red Raiders. Alicia Romero added seven points and nine rebounds for Bellingham.
Abbi Rautenberg led Meridian with nine points.
Bellingham (2-1) will host Mandurah from Australia on Wednesday, Dec. 5, while Meridian (0-3) travels to Granite Falls.
