The Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce and Industry, under president Ken Oplinger, is an avid supporter of the proposed Cherry Point coal terminal. Chamber members (including Gateway Pacific Terminal) are entitled to their opinion. So are opponents of the terminal. Urge current members to end their association with the chamber.
