Another strong Pacific front is forecast to swing through Whatcom County Monday night, Dec. 3, and Tuesday morning, bringing southerly winds up to 35 mph and gusts up to 50 mph - strong enough to down trees and trigger local power outages, according to the National Weather Service.

After the system moves inland, winds will ease to 15 to 30 mph.
