We have two winners in our recent geotourism contest.
Scott Spear of University Place won the Tacoma contest and Gregg and Bee Sapp of Tumwater won the Olympia contest.
Adventure writer Craig Hill created the geotourism events – a mix of geocaching and a quiz of local knowledge – as part of his package of stories on the activity that ran in the newspaper Oct. 28. You can read the stories at tinyurl.com/com79qp.
Spear and the Sapps were drawn from all the competitors who correctly answered the five questions that were based on locations found in both communities using GPS coordinates and hints provided by Craig.
