Outlook: The Storm received a solid influx of freshmen and have a handful of experienced wrestlers returning. Luke Jordan (113), Zach Wallace (113) and Zak Alter (138-145) give Squalicum three wrestlers with state experience. "We've had a great couple weeks of practice," Storm coach Russell Robinson said in a phone interview. "We have around 28 kids consistently every day that are working really hard." Robinson said his middle to upper weight classes should be the strength of his team, but Jordan, Wallace and newcomer Anthony Krause (106) are all solid options in the lower classes. Squalicum is trying to create a "culture of excellence" and plans to follow three words Robinson hopes will embody his team. Those are unity, improvement and honor. If the Storm are unified, improve every week and wrestle with honor, Robinson said Squalicum should enjoy success.
