The Blaine, Nooksack Valley, Mount Baker, and the combined Bellingham and Squalicum girls' wrestling team competed in the George Yonlick tournament on Friday, Nov. 30, in Bellingham.

Taryn Rogers and Annika Tirnchan each won two of their three matches for the team and Jamie Keller won all three.

"Our team had three standouts tonight," Bellingham and Squalicum coach Jaron Kensok said in a phone interview. "All three are captains and a huge aspect for the team."

Out of the six wrestlers on the team, four of them won the majority of their matches for Bellingham and Squalicum.

"Jamie is one of the girls that we are really excited about," Kensok said.
