The Blaine boys' basketball team lost 73-44 at Sedro-Woolley in a non-conference game Friday, Nov. 30.
"We just gave up too many fouls; they were in the bonus in the first quarter and hit 10 of 12 free throws in the first half," Blaine coach Shaun Pile said. "We just couldn't get into anything offensively and they did a good job of slowing us down and not getting much on offense."
Blaine was led by Ivan Sanchez, who scored 16 points.
"He had a game high for us," Pile said. "He did a good job getting in the lane and getting some easy buckets."
Blaine (0-1) plays Mount Baker on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 7:15 p.m. in a non-conference game.
