Nooksack Valley post Melissa Stadt scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Pioneers to a 41-30 non-conference win Friday, Nov. 30, at Sehome High School.
The Mariners committed 30 turnovers in their second game in as many nights.
"I thought (Sehome) gave a good effort," Mariners coach Kim Kirk said in a phone interview. "They were definitely tired from last night. Nooksack did a really nice job and played a solid game. I thought Rachel (Albert) had a nice game tonight. I thought she played really consistent and was a good leader for us."

Pioneers' Lindsay Hayes scored six points on two 3-pointers.
The Pioneers are 2-0 and face La Conner next at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, while Sehome (1-2) hosts Squalicum at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, in a non-conference game.
