The Northwest Conference boys' swimming teams gathered for the Northwest Conference Relays on Friday, Nov. 30, at Arne Hanna Aquatic Center.

Anacortes, Bellingham, Burlington-Edison, Ferndale, Lynden, Nooksack Valley, Sedro-Woolley, Squalicum and Sehome each participated in the non-competitive meet that is more about judging where the teams are rather than scoring.

"It's a good indicator to see where you are in relation to other teams," Bellingham coach Jeff Anderson said in a phone interview. "It wasn't a competitive meet but more of a fun day."

Anderson said the 200 intertube relay was the most casual race, but also the loudest.

Bellinghams best finish was a second place in the 200 freestyle.

"It was a good start to the season," Anderson said.
