Last year: Was sixth in the Northwest Conference with a 3-6 dual-meet record (2-5 NWC). Placed sixth at the 2A Northwest District meet.

Swimmers to watch: Logan Dozal (so., backstroke, freestyle, IM), Martin Sloley (fr., freestyle, breaststroke), Griffin Ellis (jr., backstroke, freestyle), Nick Overgaard (jr., freestyle, butterfly), Gabe Travers (jr., breaststroke)

Outlook: Numbers continue to grow at Bellingham, as Anderson said he has 19 swimmers out this season, which is up four from last year. "We're growing in number, we're growing in ability and we're growing in desire," Anderson said in a phone interview. "All those things we're trying to capture and bring out the best in our boys." Anderson said he has been pleased with the shape his team has shown up in, and without a senior on the team, there should be plenty of room for growth. A solid group of sophomores from last year, including Ellis, Overgaard and Travers, are now juniors, and bigger things are expected. Dozal should be a solid all-around swimmer for the Red Raiders, and has plenty of upside as only a sophomore. "He's got good experience, and we'll see where he fits," Anderson said. Same goes for Sloley, who has already caught Anderson's eye as a freshman.
